I wrote about Laura Wells swim sexy capsule collection back in April. Since I’ve coined myself as a swimsuit expert (I mean, I have like 20 of them), I requested the bikini and the one-piece from swimsuitsforall.com to review here on le blog.
First let me say that this one-piece is EVVVERRYTHANG!
Swim sexy was the theme for this capsule collection and gosh darnit Laura… you nailed it! But I have to warn you, out of the plastic it’s not the most visually stimulating swimsuit. But once I suited up, I instantly channeled my inner Supermodel (read: I strutted on that beach like a curvy Joan Smalls) and was ready for the runway or the beach–whichever is your fancy!
What’s so great about this suit:
It’s got a little bit of padding so your tatas don’t scare off the lifeguards!
The strap detailing on the back of this suit plays up the swim sexy theme.
The vibrant colors printed on this suit are insane. There’s not a girl on this earth who doesn’t slay in the color blue.
It goes up to a size 24!
I’m a size 18 for your reference and this suit wasn’t too tight or too loose. And there’s also a lot of support up top. Normally I am a little cautious of suits that don’t have built in bras but somehow this padding works. It doesn’t squish your boobs either. It’s the perfect lift without stealing ALL the sexy and leaving you feeling like a fat grandma.
About that bikini though…
Don’t do it. Only if you are a skinny fat girl with no boobs.
ANYWAYS…what’s been your go-to swimsuit?
