In case you haven’t noticed, I am kinda obsessed with swimsuits. Summer has been holding out on us long enough and I plan to sport a swimsuit everywhere I go. At least try to. Since I’ve coined myself as a swimsuit expert (I mean, I have like 20 of them), I feel obligated to share my fabulous findings with you beauties!
Since it’s Earth Day, it’s only right that Laura Wells, a plus size model, environmental scientist and self-proclaimed “environmental eco-warrior” debuts her new swimwear line in collaboration with swimsuitsforall.
The line features three bikinis and a one-piece in colorful ocean-inspired designs. So where’s the Earth day connection? All the suits are made from Recotex, a 100% recycled yarn that reuses polyester and spandex, and are chlorine and sea water tested. All packaging, including hang tags and product bags, are made of 100% recycled paper. How’s that for saving the world!
“Swimsuitsforall gave me an opportunity to merge my passion for the ocean’s beauty with my role as an ambassador for body positivity,” says Laura Wells. “I am very excited for customers to see how sexy eco-friendly swimsuits can be!”
Suits run up to size 24 and will be available at swimsuitsforall.com. Check ’em out below!
You beauties know I’ve already ordered mine. Stay tuned for that post.
