ASOS is always a place we at GIG find ourselves shopping at for quality clothes. Well at least I know I do. So with spring only a few weeks away, their “Stepping Into Spring” collection is totally on trend. The collection crosses multiple levels of the hottest trends this season…we’re talking leather, prints, florals, bright colors, fun and then some. This season sportswear takes center stage with motocross references, Aertex and leather toughening up the trend. Sheer panelling across slip dresses and stripe pleating update an otherwise boring casual look, and androgynous tailored macs are reworked with zips on mesh for an unstructured take on the spring jacket.
Pretty lace trims and crochet detailing on midi lengths make for a hippie-inspired look, and botanical prints and embroidered silk kimono tops offer a delicate approach to festival dressing. The new-season palette features Fluoro highlights of primary yellow, green and blue teamed with grey and white.
There is something so feminine and flirty about prints and florals. They’re pretty much a must-have when the weather warms up. A good floral pant or floral top paired together or with a basics can take your outfit to the next level.
Denim; bleached, frayed and oversized makes a statement with stamped metallic Hindi-inspired crests for the summer season. And let’s be honest denim just never gets old. We all need a denim jacket for those chilly nights and a perfect pair of denim shorts to show off your great legs.
